Teaching - a Journey Not a Destination
This session is aimed at teachers, trainers and educators who are keen to evolve, develop and improve their own teaching practice, through the development of their own teaching tool kit. It will be particularly beneficial for colleagues who are applying to become a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and also those applying for to become a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Presenter: Paul Hooks, Senior Lecturer in Policing Practice, CBASS
Paul has been involved in teaching, training, mentoring, coaching and education since the early 1990’s. Today Paul’s passion is understanding the development, creation and practice of adult teaching and learning (andragogy), and specifically how one’s own practice can help support others in their practice through CDP and reflexivity.

It aligns with AdvanceHE's Professional Standards Framework (PSF2023), in particular
