Recent years have witnessing a growing international discussion about the need to decolonize the curriculum. This session will explore the broader question of the relationship of the modern University as an institution to experiences of imperialism, colonialism, and coloniality - yesterday and today. It will also aim to suggest some practical ways in which students and staff could begin to work together to make a decolonized educational experience a reality.
